Metcal announces that it will exhibit at the SMTA Ohio Valley Expo Tech Forum, scheduled to take place Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Doubletree Hotel in Cleveland, OH. The new MX-5200 Soldering, Desoldering and Rework Series and the award-winning Scorpion Rework System will be highlighted at the show.
The MX-5200 now features a dual-simultaneous use option, meaning that two hand-pieces can work from one power supply at the same time. Supporting the MX-5200 Series simultaneous dual operation are four different hand-pieces and a comprehensive range of soldering and rework cartridges. These include the Metcal Advancedtrade; Hand-Piece for SMD rework, a Metcal Ultra-Finetrade; Hand-Piece for fine access, a Precision Tweezer capable of removing a range of components from 0201 chips to 28mm SOICs, and a Desoldering Gun for safely removing through-hole components.
The Scorpion Rework System allows for simultaneous viewing of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) pads and component pads or balls for the accurate placement of BGAs. The Scorpion can create specifically tailored reflow profiles through OK Internationals unique convection heating technology with nozzle and dual-zone pre-heater in one user-friendly, single platform rework system.
Company representatives will be available to discuss these systems as well as the MFR-1351 Desoldering System and BVX-200 Fume Extraction System.
